Cutting edge emergency medicine, networking, wine and more at #acemws17

For those of you who have not yet noticed, South Australia is hosting the upcoming ACEM Winter Symposium 2017. From July 26 - 29, we'll be living it up in the amazing Barossa Valley, home to some of Australia's (and the world's) best wines, and a veritable hotbed of culinary delights.

The program is looking amazing, with keynote speakers Simon Carley and Louise Cullen, and a variety of sessions ranging from neonatal resuscitation to new fellow advice, from critical bleeding to toxicology and snakes (with real snakes). Throw in some psychiatry, clinical innovation, ECMO (with Chris Nickson) radiology and dedicated trainee sessions, and there's something for everyone.

In addition, there are a number of exciting workshops, including ECGs with Louise Cullen, mass casualty, hands-on ED thoracotomy, difficult airways, ultrasound, simulation and OSCE preparation for fellowship candidates.

This symposium is filling up! There are limited places in the workshops that are selling out, and, due to the venue, overall symposium registrations are limited. If you want to get in on some of this, register now!
