Snakes and spiders and mushrooms, oh my! Clinical Toxinology Short Course

The highly regarded Toxinology Department based at the Women's and Children's Hospital in Adelaide are offering their annual Clinical Toxinology Short Course from March 14 - 19 2016. The course is coordinated by the highly-regarded Professor Julian White, head of the department and author of "A Clinician's Guide to Australian Venomous Bites and Stings" (CSL). The faculty is going to be made up of Australian and international experts.

The course will cover all major venomous and poisonous animals worldwide, and a selection of the most important poisonous plants and mushrooms/toadstools, with an emphasis on clinical situations. Special emphasis will be on snakes and snakebite, spiders and scorpions bites/stings and marine envenoming/poisoning.

Attendees of previous years' courses have universally given good reviews.
